About

A little about me:
  • I grew up in South Jordan.
  • I attended Bingham High School and taught Mini Miners Preschool as a class. This is where it was confirmed for me that I did indeed want to be a teacher.
  • I attended Brigham Young University and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • I was able to teach BYU's highly-accredited preschool while I attended there.
  • I taught preschool at a Montessori school for a year, collecting great ideas to implement in my teaching.
  • I met my husband Curtis at Bingham High School. We have been happily married since September of 2008.
  • I have four amazing children. Zander is eight and in second grade at Mountain Point Elementary.  My daughter Lexi is five and will start kindergarten next school year. Next year I will just have Max who will be four and Levi who will be two at home all day. I keep both of them in the classroom with me. It's amazing to witness older children teaching and helping them and the friendships they form.
  • I love teaching and am thrilled to teach for my sixth year next year!
